Lull
Privacy Policy
Effective: 2026-06-19
What we collect
Nothing.
Lull does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information, device identifiers, usage analytics, location, contacts, or any other data about you or your device. There are no accounts, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
Your data stays on your device
The information you create in Lull — your matched tinnitus pitch, your sound preferences, and your daily severity check-ins — is stored only in Lull's private storage on your device. It is never transmitted off-device by the app. You can export all of it as a file, or delete all of it, at any time from the Tracking screen.
Health-adjacent data
Your daily severity ratings are self-reported wellness notes, not clinical measurements, and Lull treats them as private on-device data. Lull does not integrate with Apple Health in this version and requests no Health permissions.
Required Reason API declaration
In compliance with Apple's privacy manifest requirements, Lull's bundled PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy declares its use of Required Reason APIs — limited to NSPrivacyAccessedAPICategoryUserDefaults (reason code CA92.1, "access info from the same app") for storing your in-app preferences. This information stays on-device.
Network access
Lull's core features make no network requests. The app does not connect to any servers, APIs, or third-party services to deliver sound therapy, tracking, or the content library.
Tracking
Lull does not track you across apps or websites. It does not present an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt, because no tracking takes place.
Children's privacy
Lull does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children. Because the app collects nothing, it complies with GDPR and COPPA by design.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the new version will replace this page at the same URL. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
